Let Us Sell Your Home!
Royal Lepage is the largest Broker in the Quinte Area. This enables me to offer you immediate notification to our agents of your listing.
There are specific things I may do for the sale of your individual property but there are several things I offer every client regarding their listing:
- Weekly placement in the local "Real Estate Today" newspaper (the "Bible" for local purchasers)
- On-site signage
- "Multiple listing" service through our Quinte Real Estate Board to all other Brokers and salespeople in the Quinte area, the Province, the Country and throughout the World
- Web-site coverage of your listing via the Royal Lepage site as well as this, my personal site
- Open Houses as requested by you
I follow-up with my fellow salespeople after each showing to relay feedback to you - both positive and negative comments - so that you may assess your position in the marketplace.
Any incoming offers will be reviewed with you and I use my experience in the market to try to obtain the best sale possible for you. This is not only determined by price but by many other factors that are included in the sale and the conditions that may be included in the sale document itself.
After that deal is signed I ensure all documentation is done correctly and on time to ensure your sale becomes firm and binding. All necessary documentation is forwarded to the lawyer of your choice to aid them in providing legal service to you.
I will make myself available to you to ensure this entire process is as stress free as possible for you and your family. I see the sale of your property as a team effort.
Tips For Selling Your Home
"First Impressions Count."
"You Never Get a Second Chance to Make a First Impression."
"First Impressions are Lasting Impressions."
As tired and banal as these clichés may sound to you, the reason why they are clichés is because they are true. The decision to buy a house is not solely based upon rational factors such as price, location and accessibility to services. It is also an emotional choice. It is a search for a home, a place in which one will find comfort, security and happiness, a place one would want to settle down and live in. Emotions are set early, so it is important that minor, even typical, nuisances such as an unmowed lawn or a pile of boots by the door are looked after. As unfair as it might be to your home, after only fifteen seconds most buyers have already developed a perception of your property that will colour their feelings for the rest of the showing and perhaps dramatically affect their perceived value of the property.
